淮安市清江化工阀门有限公司的前身是淮安市清江化工阀门总厂。创建于1965年，1970年被机械工业部定点为专业生产衬里阀门的企业。30多年来，一直承担国家重点项目建设任务。用户遍及全国，并出口印尼、阿尔巴尼亚、台湾等国家和地区，产品广泛应用于化工、医药、电力、冶金、锅炉等化水处理系统。

　　企业是省二级计量单位，市文明单位，“重合同、守信用”企业。工厂占地1.1万平方米，厂房9600平方米。现有职工398人其中工程技术人员99人。资产1069万元，年产值1800万元。拥有各类机床、设备89台（套）。设备精良，工艺先进，产品质量稳定。衬胶隔膜阀系列产品先后被评为市优产品，省一等品，全国阀门质量过硬放心名片企业，产品设计采用CAD辅助设计，可根据用户的需求设计制造各种衬里阀门或非标产品。

　　1998年3月，工厂经过改制，成立了股份有限公司，给企业增添了活力。先后引进了一批技术人才，使企业新品开发实力不断增强。特别是98年8月以来，开发成功了国家专利技术产品带压检修特种阀门－－双切换旋塞阀、双切断截止阀，已通过了省级鉴定，并被列为省级星火计划项目。2001年1月企业通过了ISO9002质量体质认证，同时已领取采用国际标准合格证书。1999年8月在第八届中国专利新产品、新技术博览会上荣获金奖。该产品目前已形成批量生产能力。
